Throughout Chew The Cud week we were all able to be educated somehow and something we found out was that not only is more communication needed between employees and employers but how that is delivered to the industry is key.
A Kahoot survey was run at both events which unearthed very interesting answers about what is important to people about employment, and it not just money or salary expectations. As a result we found that the industry wants a formatted protocol to follow when having conversations about next season. Starting the conversation can be difficult enough but what to talk about needs to be identified so everyone can follow a standard and produce exact answers that can lead to new opportunities or the development of new skills to establish what next season can look like for an employee or employer.
