Our Ashburton Event

Ashburton was an appropriate place to launch Chew The Cud Week with Mid Canterbury’s growing dairy industry. With the assistance of Farm Source we were able to host dairy farmers to introduce a communications plan moving towards the middle of the year and new dairy season with a ‘Breaking The Ice’ theme in accordance with starting conversations.

Local farmers were keen to know about how recruits are sourced from training programmes plus the incoming overseas dairy workers as part of our Irish Exchange. Dairy employees also attended know to know how their skills can be improved and how those new skills can be communicated to the industry to create opportunities
